Online Mail Order Sales

The terms and information set out below are for items purchased online through our website, and are in addition to our general Terms and Conditions of Sales.

Items can be purchased through our online shop for delivery within most of Mainland U.K. If delivery to the Rest of the UK or Europe is required there may be extra costs (as per listings), or contact us for an accurate price (sorry but we do not deliver outside of Europe or PO box addresses). 

Payment
Items can be paid for by paypal, cheque, postal order or credit/debit card.
If paying by paypal just use the online ordering system to pay (please note that if paying by paypal we have to send the items to your registered paypal address), payment can also be made by credit/debit card through paypal even if you don't have an account (note that we only accept paypal payment for the automated orders through the online shop/ebay to a maximium of £1000).
To pay by cheque or P.O. first write down your order and send to 87-89 Alder Road, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset, BH12 2AB. Make all cheques/P.O. payable to Ace Glass & Mirrors Ltd and please allow 7 days for cheques to clear.
Payment can also be made via credit/debit card over the phone by calling 01202 383250 between 08:15 - 17:15 Monday to Friday or 09:00 - 13:00 Saturday, or fax the order/details to 01202 383251 (subject to a maximum transaction of £2,000 per order). Alternatively you can always email with an order and request us to call you for payment (please do not email payment details as it is not secure). Security is always top priority and we never keep credit card details after use.

Postage, Delivery & Returns
All orders are sent via Royal Mail, Courier, or a 3rd party depending on total weight, or by us if it's a large or local order. Items over £40 will usually have to be signed for.
Please allow 5 - 10 working days for delivery, plus any relevant bank holidays.
Stock items can be returned for a refund within 14 calendar days of receipt; however customer must inform us of the return in writing, and pay the return postage costs. All items must be returned in same packaging and condition originally sent out in. Any extra postage paid for different and/or quicker service than the standard included option is non-refundable. Note we advise a trackable option is used with adequate insurance.
Any faulty/damaged items will be exchanged, but we must be notified via email within 24 hours of items being received, with explanation of the problem. Likewise we need to be notified of any shortages within 24 hours. If after 2 weeks items haven't been received please inform us so we can help. We will work with Royal Mail and other Couriers to resolve the problem, but it is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if they arrive at anytime after notifying lost post. 
Postage discounts may be possible at our discretion for multiple bulk purchases, however please contact us for the price before buying. Please note that returns/refunds are not accepted on any Bespoke items (made to measure products).
All deliveries by 3rd party couriers are bound by their own terms, and all deliveries by us or our suppliers are ‘tailgate’ only, meaning someone has to be present to take the delivery directly from the vehicle. Although deliveries may be taken to the entrance of the property at our discretion. Due to unforeseen circumstances and the fact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed we advise never to book in any fitters or installers until your order has been received in satisfactory condition. Please note we are unable to remove, transport, dispose or manage any waste, so cannot and will not take/transport glass, mirrors, windows, doors or any other waste for disposal. Instead we would always recommend disposal via your local authority refuse centre. All sales whether online or offline, from stock or made to measure are bound by our terms.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the final use of any products brought from us comply with any law or building regulations that maybe in place. Ace Glass & Mirrors Ltd will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage caused by use of any products brought from us. Any direct manufacturers terms and guarantee apply to all products where applicable.

All prices are including vat, and a vat receipt will be given with orders.
